Exhibitor
Being a book fair vendor is the best direct marketing your company can do. Many home school families do their shopping for the upcoming year at this book fair. Attendees will have ample opportunity to shop during the course of the convention.
Each booth space will be 8 ft. wide and 10 ft. deep. You may reserve as many as you need. These spaces are $150.00 for the first table and $125.00 for each table after that. Extra tables for use within the booth spaces are available for an additional $25.00 each. If you require electrical hookup, you will need to indicate this on your registration form.. There is a $30.00 fee for electricity. Overhead projectors are $40.00 each.
Vendor Workshop
As a exhibitor you may want to present a Vendor workshop. These workshops provide an avenue for showing, demonstrating, or explaining what you have to offer to the home schooling family. The workshops are 50 minutes long and are available on a first come, first serve basis. For the last several years, all the workshop time slots have been used. If you would like to set up a workshop, please include the title and a short description with your request. Workshops are $40.00 each and space is limited.
Syllabus Ad
The convention syllabus is a tool that many schooling families will use for years. The , as well as the notes taken, will help refresh them each time they open it. Many families use the syllabus as a resource for the entire time they home school. Veterans will show their syllabus to new home school families as they begin to home school. As you can see, it would be hard to predict exactly how far reaching and effective your ad could be. What would it cost for your company to reach home schooling families across the state of Louisiana? Looking at the largest ad as an example, at $200.00 for the back cover, the cost of reaching 500 families would be less than .40 cents each. This cost covers the printing and delivery of your ad to each family. It would be hard to find a better or less expensive way to reach home schooling families with your information.
Ads must be black and white, in ready to copy format, and in the size of the ad you
choose. It could be as simple as a business card (black and white) that we can copy.
Emailing
a high quality jpeg file is probably the easiest way to send your ad. To meet the
syllabus printing date, we must ask that all information be received no later than
June 25, 2007.
Syllabus ad rates are as follows:
1/8 page ad 2 ¼ inch high x 3 ½ inch wide -
¼ page ad 4 ¾ inch high x 3 1/2 inch wide -
½ page ad 4 ¾ inch high x 7 ½ inch wide -
full page ad 10 inch high x 7 ½ inch wide -
outside back cover 10 inch x 7 ½ wide -
Resource Table
For the price of $25.00 per square foot, you can place flyers or other information on a table inside the vendor hall. This table will be highlighted, so book fair participants will not miss it.
